Custom water reclaim system
Our water reclamation system helps reuse some water for certain wash functions.
The system features large underground tanks to filter suspended sediment, provide ozone treatments, and powerful cyclonic separators during the final purification stage.
Our water reclamation system uses Rotating Bed Biofilm Reactor (RBBR) technology to dramatically reduce its overall water consumption without sacrificing performance or wash quality.
In fact, the technology allows the wash to reclaim up to 90% of the water used to wash each car—up to 40% more than industry standard.
Overall, we can produce more than 100 gallons of usable water each minute, allowing us to perform the same cleaning while drawing in much less fresh or city water overall.
Limited water usage
Each Tommy’s Express is fully stocked with high-efficiency water-saving equipment and is designed to dispose of used water in a responsible manner.
All the water used at Tommy’s Express is safely routed through a local sanitary sewer to a water treatment plant, where it can be purified.
This system pairs well with Tommy’s Express’s already low water consumption, due to our highly efficient and targeted wash equipment.
From Presoak to Tire Shine, our wash products have been formulated to complement each other and work quickly at very precise dilution ratios on each arch. This means we can still clean cars from top to bottom while using less water and running our conveyors faster.
By using booster pumps and specialized nozzles we can greatly increase our water pressure, providing high-intensity and close cleaning while greatly reducing overall water consumption.
